The Smiling Puppy Cafe Book I: A Body, a Bandit, and a Cafe Synopsis

Walking Limb, Ohio is the quintessential small town. Made up of a diverse group of inhabitants called Limbers, they've had their share of secrets over the years, but for the most part, they love doing what they can to support their hometown and loved ones. 

As Memorial Day approaches, Limbers find themselves amongst chaos when a mysterious dead body floats to the surface in the river that runs through downtown. Plus, with the kickoff of the town's annual landscaping competition, many contestants are met with the wrecking force of a lawnmower bandit who has a vendetta.  

Its all too much for this once quiet town to handle.

With a murder to solve, Limbers congregate at the town's newest hot spot for coffee and books, the Smiling Puppy Cafe, only to find that more death, deceit, lies, and secrets lie ahead. One of their own is accused, but alas, nothing is ever as it seems. 

While trying to save themselves and each other from more heartache and tragedy, Limbers soon learn that quiet doesn't last forever, especially in Walking Limb. 

Follow the Limbers as their summer unfolds underneath the canopy and watchful eye of the Smiling Puppy Cafe.
